Let me apologize, it’s been awhile since my last post, gee, I sound like I’m at confession, lol. Anyway, life has been crazy, Tessie crazy. New DIY projects are in the works, just received a shipment of DecoArt Chalk paint, can’t wait to try it out and play, I have an awesome 1940’s standing stereo that is going to make an awesome liquor cabinet, O’ I can see it now, beautiful, just full of good stuff! I have a few other projects I’m working on, trying to find time to do more bible journaling, scrapbooking, and whatever else tickles my fancy.
In other news, we, yes we in our house have decided that winter was not good to our bodies, so we are trying to shed some carbs, pounds, inches, whatever the case may be, we are getting rid of it. I’m trying new recipes, new snacks, and trying not to starve to death in the meantime. I am a firm believer that you can’t deprive yourself, I don’t want to go through life not ever eating something again. For instance, I love Pepsi, yes, love it, I was drinking way, way, way too much of it, so I gave it up cold turkey for a few weeks, well, now I don’t miss it, every once in a while I grab a can and usually drink half then I’m done, but I will drink Pepsi again in this lifetime, not by the gallons but a bit every now & then. If you are thinking of some dieting, want to get healthier, or shed a couple inches, don’t deprive yourself, that’s just setting yourself up for failure, it’s learning moderation. There will be much more to come on this, so stay tuned!
I promise to blog more (I’m not saying 3 Hail Mary’s and 4 Our Father’s) but I will keep in touch more and share more about what I’m learning and experiencing in life, according to Tessie…..
